Very funny movie but a little lopsided: The black guys get screwed in the ending, the jew gets the diamond and Turkish and the little guy get off. Not to mention Brad Pitt's character gets in on a lot of money, but it was his wit that made him win in the end and he had to lose his mother in the process.

This film is the best British film ever in my opinion, it has everything a good Indie film could have. It beats every effort ever made by Hollywood mainstream cinema - not that it's hard. The acting is fantastic and Brad Pitt can finally be called a good actor without me objecting greatly. Guy Ritchie is a fantastic writer and director. My favorite film ever. Alan Ford & Brad Pitt shine in it. A must see!

Entertaining film but is it just me or is Guy Ritchie just a geek trying to get down with the home boys. gypsies, London gangsters, jew diamond dealers, russian gangsters, yardies etc.There's no real conventions of a gangster film, just elements of the directors/audiences fascinations being thrown on screen. The bad, the ugly, the unknown. Where's the character development? Emotional contact? If you look at lock stock he does the same thing- thieves from Liverpool, sex shop owner/gangster, dodgy dealing greek, groups of drug dealers who use public school boys to grow drugs. If you take away these stereotypes and 'seedy' visuals what you're left with is pretty dull films. The fact that these characters are so much so considered the other is what drives the films forward. Probably the reason why revolver was such a flop was because Mr Richie had no more bums to lick. Oh I forget he did try and use Ray Liotta. Come on Guy, Goodfellas was a long time ago, lighting doesn't strike twice.

"Give Me Case. Or I Shoot You". Boris the Blade was one hell of a character. Menacing but at the same time that perfect timing which makes the menace all the more interesting.
